E3 2015
The biggest gaming event in the world, is on our doorstep. From tomorrow, the 16th, to the 18th the biggest, most exciting games will be revealed and more information will be released on upcoming titles. But it seems there is already a star of the show, Fallout 4.
Bethesda has released more gameplay to the prying eyes of the gamer community, and it looks like everything we wanted. The world is beautiful, characters look amazing, and it seems like you can get your canine companion very early on. It starts of on a beautiful Saturday morning. In typical Fallout style you choose what you look like, and all your stats in a very imaginative and unique way. Then the bombs fall, and you rush with your wife and baby to the vault. They stop the gameplay, but just before the screen goes black, it looks like a bomb has dropped and a nuclear dust cloud is heading your way. They start it when your character has emerged from the fault. Everything is destroyed and Fallouty, as you'd expect. You wander down to your suberb and your house, only to discover your faithful robotic servant, Codsworth, is waiting outside. He rushes to greet you, clearly happy to see you are still alive, and this is where Bethesda's lovely conversation mechanics come into play. It is even more dynamic than before, allowing you to view it in 3rd person, walk away, or just shoot them in the face.

Codsworth eventually reveals that he has been waiting for you for 200 years!! Dun Dun Duuuunnnnn! Of course that is impossible but the devs move away from that topic to keep the story unspoiled. The game looks incredible and you should check out all the mechanics and gameplay changes. I won't go into detail the list includes, house and eventually town building, and new and improved crafting system, new pip-boy, and a scavenging system which effects what you can craft and build. To find out all the details go to:
And here is the gameplay:
Of course I'm looking forward to what else will be announced, like the interesting, scretive No Mans Sky, so I guess we'll have to wait and see....
